![]() ![]() ![]() Most people actually had/have no idea where I am based, because I wasn’t making it known anywhere! After spending weekends away from home week after week and month after month, I really started to realize how nice it is to have a “home”. And lo and behold, it worked! Over the course of the next two years, I was getting more out of state weddings than I was getting local. A lot of that came from investing in the travel myself, and setting up shoots or offering slightly discounted shoots in order to gain a portfolio in different areas. I did all that I could to make it known to potential clients that I was willing to travel to them for their big days and big moments. So that’s what I set out to accomplish! I marketed myself as a traveling wedding photographer, not bound to one specific state. When I first started my business, I wasn’t super in love with Idaho (not enough to feel like I was missing out!) and my heart wanted to be traveling all the time. ![]() However getting to explore the last couple years with my husband, we’ve found just the opposite!!
